At HYGGE AND HEARTH, I help homeowners, real estate agents, and developers in the Buffalo, NY and Western New York area sell homes better.

As a certified home stager (Staging Design Professional® – Expert Level, Staging Studio) and trained real estate photographer, my mission is to showcase a home’s full potential before listing. My additional role as a Licensed Associate Real Estate Broker gives me invaluable insight into how buyers think and what makes them fall in love with a home. I use that perspective to enhance a home’s appeal through occupied and vacant home staging as well as professional real estate photography. The results speak for themselves: according to Realtor.com, staged homes sell 88% faster and for up to 20% more than unstaged homes.
My home staging certification comes from the Staging Design Professional® program at the Staging Studio, a training program accredited by the Real Estate Staging Association (RESA), the International Association of Home Staging Professionals (IAHSP), and the Home Staging Association UK/Ireland (HSA). This professional training allows me to combine design principles with proven staging strategies that appeal to today’s buyers.
Alongside home staging, I offer real estate photography designed specifically for property marketing. I have completed coursework in digital and real estate photography and use professional equipment, including an APS-C mirrorless camera with a wide-angle lens and flash speedlite, to capture bright, balanced images that highlight space, light, and architectural features. I carefully edit each and every image in Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop to ensure every photo presents the home at its best. Because I personally handle every step of the photography process, I am able to ensure consistent image quality and continuity of vision.
When you combine both services, you not only receive a photography discount, but also benefit from a seamless, coordinated approach. I stage each home with the final photos in mind, carefully considering composition and lighting to ensure the property shines both in person and on camera.

Influenced by my European roots, I create and capture spaces that are both beautiful and functional, with the goal of generating a sense of belonging among home buyers.

The name HYGGE AND HEARTH reflects this philosophy.
The Danish concept of “hygge” roughly translates to “coziness”, but it goes deeper than that: Hygge is being in a state of contentment, of enjoying the small everyday pleasures of life. As Meik Wiking describes in The Little Book of Hygge, “Hygge is about an atmosphere and an experience, rather than about things. It is about being with the people we love. A feeling of home. A feeling that we are safe, that we are shielded from the world and allow ourselves to let our guard down.”
The “hearth”, both literal and symbolic, has long been considered the heart of a home. It represents everything that we look for in a home: warmth, shelter and togetherness.
